Costuming for women

Steam-punk for women is dark and derived from the Victorian and modern eras.

Above is a Gertrude (Hamlet's mother, the queen) inspired dress It should have some color in it to represent that she is no longer mourning the loss of her husband, while Hamlet still clearly is. Grey and red would be good choices for her dress color.

Above is an Ophelia inspire outfit. She is young and the daughter of a Lord, she needs to look classy and presentable, as well as innocent. This outfit looks sweet and makes her look demure. Her costume should be light grey and possibly some white and light pink in order to portray innocence.
